No. 19 Women’s Golf in Second After Two Rounds at Boilermaker Classic

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – No. 19 Ole Miss women's golf sits in second place after two rounds at the Boilermaker Classic at the Kampen-Cosler Course. The Rebels are 3-over par and are only trailing Miami by three strokes heading into tomorrow's final round.
Freshman Lisa Herman leads Ole Miss in third place at 3-under following rounds of 70 and 71 in her collegiate debut. Herman was one of three players to shoot under par in both rounds. Herman sits one stroke behind co-leaders Barbora Bujáková of Miami and Kaitlyn Schroeder of North Florida.
Mary Miller joins Herman inside the top five, sitting tied for fourth at 1-under par. Miller tied her career-low with a 4-under 68 before carding a 75 in the second round. Miller has shot 68 five times in her collegiate career.
Ole Miss opened the tournament with an 11-under 277 to take a five-stroke lead after the first round. Kajsalotta Svarvar registered 4-under par 68 during the opening round and sits tied for 15th at 3-over 147 following a second-round 79.
Matilda Björkman is tied for 32nd at 7-over 151 after rounds of 74 and 77. Freshman Ebba Lundqvist began her collegiate career with a 1-under 71 before posting an 81 in the second round to sit tied for 36th at 8-over.
Competing as an individual, Sophie Linder is in 54th place at 11-over 155 following rounds of 77 and 78.
Ole Miss holds an 11-stroke advantage over third-place North Florida entering Tuesday's final round. Play will begin at 8 a.m. CT with a shotgun start.
