OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss Soccer is set to welcome Louisiana Monroe to Oxford, Mississippi, on Sunday for its third home match of the season. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
• Ole Miss enters Sunday's matchup with ULM at 4-1-0 after opening the season with four straight wins. The Rebels are 1-1 at Ole Miss Soccer Stadium this season.
• Ole Miss suffered its first loss of the season Thursday night, falling to No. 24 Memphis, 3-1. Teaghan Irvin scored the lone Rebel goal against Memphis, marking the first goal of her collegiate career.
• Ole Miss has earned 33 corner kicks while allowing 14 through five matches.
• Taylor Prigge has played all 450 minutes in goal for the Rebels, posting a 4-1-0 record with three shutouts.

A NEW ERA
Ole Miss begins a new chapter in 2026 under first-year head coach Todd Shulenberger, who was named the fourth head coach in program history on Dec. 1, 2025.
Shulenberger came to Oxford after 11 seasons at Washington State, where he became the winningest coach in program history with a 113-67-34 record. He led the Cougars to five NCAA Tournament appearances, including the program's first College Cup appearance in 2019.
During his time at Washington State, Shulenberger coached 43 all-conference selections and 10 players who were drafted into the NWSL or USL Super League.
LAST TIME OUT
Ole Miss suffered its first loss of the season Thursday night, falling to No. 24 Memphis, 3-1, at Ole Miss Soccer Stadium. The Tigers struck twice in the opening 12 minutes before Teaghan Irvin cut the deficit in half in the 28th minute, scoring off an assist from Audrey Shackelford for the first goal of her collegiate career. Memphis carried a 2-1 lead into halftime and added its third goal in the 76th minute. Taylor Prigge played all 90 minutes in goal and recorded a season-high five saves, while Ole Miss finished with 10 shots and five shots on goal.
SCOUTING REPORT: ULM
ULM comes to Oxford with a 2-2-1 record through its first five matches of the season. The Warhawks opened the year with a 1-1 draw at Little Rock before picking up wins against Alcorn and Jackson State, while dropping road matches at North Texas and Grambling. ULM has scored 12 goals on 61 shots while allowing six goals on 56 shots. The Warhawks are led offensively by Amy Sharkey, who has tallied three goals and six points, while Charli Harris has added two goals, one assist and five points. Jade Bowé has also scored twice for ULM. Jen Handy has started all five matches in goal, recording 23 saves with a 1.07 goals-against average and an .821 save percentage. ULM is led by first-year head coach Antony Blackburn, who was named the seventh head coach in program history after spending time at LSU and Valencia C.F.

Katie Ramsden returns after leading Ole Miss in goals, points, shots and shots on goal in 2025. Ramsden started all 15 matches and finished the season with four goals, one assist, nine points, 24 shots and 11 shots on goal. Sarah Granno also returns after finishing second on the team with two goals and five points. Tate Blincoe and Evie Ewing each scored one goal last season, giving the Rebels four returning goal scorers from the 2025 roster.

Pontieri was one of 45 midfielders added to the watch list and one of seven from the SEC. The North Florida transfer came to Oxford after playing in 57 matches from 2023-25, scoring 14 goals and adding 12 assists over more than 2,700 minutes.
In 2025, Pontieri earned first-team All-ASUN honors after leading the conference in assists, shots on goal, total shots and game-winning goals. She finished the season with 10 assists, 44 shots on goal, 101 total shots, five game-winning goals and eight goals.

Ole Miss had five players selected to the 2026 SEC Soccer Preseason Watch List, with Paxton Bock, Ava Ghoreishi, Audrey Shackelford, Jenna Studer and Alena Watts earning recognition from the league office.
