REGULAR SEASON AT A GLANCE
It's been another productive year in the 11th edition of the Kory Henkes era. Ole Miss has six top five finishes this season to go along with two team titles. Four players have tallied at least one top 10 finish with two tallying at least one top five. With postseason play on the horizon, Henkes and company look to make it eight straight regional appearances and the seventh team trip to the NCAA Championships.
BACK IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE TIMES TWO
Ole Miss notched two victories in the fall including their second straight win at the Cougar Classic back on Sept. 9. It marked back-to-back wins for the sixth time in program history with four coming under head coach Kory Henkes. The win in Charleston was the third at the Cougar Classic under Henkes in the last four years with prior wins coming in 2022 and 2023.
SIX STRONG
Ole Miss returns 70 percent of their 2024-25 roster broken down by one senior, one junior and three sophomores. Senior Nicole Gal has appeared in all nine events for the Rebels, recording a 74.00 scoring average. Her best finish so far this season came in her home country of Canada where she placed T8 at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational.
Sophomore Kajsalotta Svarvar has been stellar this season with three top five finishes. She leads the team in eight statistical categories and carded a career best 54-hole score of (203, -10) at the Cougar Classic.
Sophie Linder has been solid in the middle of the lineup for Ole Miss as she journeys through her third spring in the red and blue. Linder is third best in rounds under-par and rounds in the 60s this season.
Filippa Sundquist holds four top 20 finishes and has rattled home the fifth most birdies of any Rebel.
Larissa Carrillo rounds out the six-returners ready take Ole Miss back to the NCAA Tournament for the eighth straight year.
NEW FACES, IMMEDIATE IMPACT
Kory Henkes and Zack Siefert added true freshman Matilda Björkman as part of the 2025 class and picked up sophomore Mary Miller via the portal.
Björkman, a native of Töreboda, Västergötland, Sweden, wasted little time cementing her name on the collegiate stage with a T3 finish in her debut at the Boilermaker Classic. She leads the team in eagles and has carded nine rounds of par or better.
Mary Miller came to Ole Miss after one year at Georgia Southern where she started all 13 tournaments as a freshman and set a program record 37 rounds played, the most in a single season at GSU. The Savannah, Georgia native has made her impact immediate, carding six top 20 finishes in nine events this season for the Rebels.
