Women’s Tennis Travels to No. 12 Vanderbilt Before Hosting Missouri

3/18/2026 | Women's Tennis

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss women's tennis will split this week on the road and at home as they face No. 12 Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee, before coming back home to face Missouri.

Ole Miss (7-6, 2-5 SEC) is coming off a road trip out west, where they went 1-1, dropping their match against No. 9 Oklahoma before beating No. 50 Arkansas.

The Rebels will seek to add two more SEC wins to their resume this weekend. First up, they will face No. 12 Vanderbilt (15-4, 5-2 SEC) at the Lummis Family Tennis Center in Nashville on Thursday, March 19, at 5 p.m.

The Commodores have proven themselves to be one of the top teams in the nation this spring. Their 3-0 ITA Kickoff Weekend performance propelled them to a berth at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship to start the season.

In conference play, the Commodores have dropped two matches but have since rattled off four straight SEC wins, including a 4-2 win against No. 1 Georgia.

After their short road trip, the Rebels will return home to face Missouri (9-9, 0-7 SEC) at the Palmer Salloum Outdoor Tennis Center on Saturday, March 21, at 1 p.m.

The Tigers are currently amid a seven-game losing streak in SEC play. They will be seeking to right the ship this week as they face a pair of nonconference opponents and No. 11 LSU before coming to Oxford this Saturday.

The last time Ole Miss faced off against Missouri was in the first round of the SEC Championships last spring, and defeated Missouri 4-1.
