A Long History
Ole Miss and Vanderbilt first met in 1894, with this year's matchup marking the 99th meeting between the Rebels and Commodores. Among Ole Miss' 2026 opponents, Vanderbilt is the Rebels' third-most played series, trailing only Mississippi State and LSU. Ole Miss leads the all-time series 54-40-2 after vacated wins and has won nine of the last 11 meetings. In Nashville, Vanderbilt holds a 29-23-2 advantage in the series after vacated wins.

100% Percent
Ole Miss is one of just 11 teams nationally with a 100 percent success rate in the red zone this season. The Rebels are joined by two other SEC programs, No. 6 Alabama and No. 15 Tennessee, as the only conference teams that remain perfect in red-zone opportunities.

Dual Threat
Trinidad Chambliss has accounted for 102 touchdowns over his career, making him one of just two active FBS quarterbacks with more than 100 career touchdowns. Chambliss has also thrown a touchdown pass in 17 consecutive games, the third-longest streak in Ole Miss history. The Rebel quarterback is one of only six active FBS players to have surpassed both 8,000 career passing yards and 1,000 career rushing yards.

Staying in the Rankings
Ole Miss enters Game 5 ranked No. 9 in the AP Poll and No. 11 in the Coaches Poll. The Rebels have appeared in the AP Poll for 56 consecutive weeks dating back to 2023, marking the second-longest streak in program history behind only the run from 1957-63.

Climbing Record Books
Suntarine Perkins continues to climb the Ole Miss record book, currently tied for fifth in program history with 33.5 career tackles for loss. He sits just 0.5 tackles for loss away from tying for fourth all-time. Perkins has added 1.5 tackles for loss this season. Perkins is also tied for fifth in program history with 19.0 career sacks, including 0.5 this season.
