OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss soccer head coach Todd Shulenberger announced the addition of Harold Warren as Associate Head Coach as part of his staff Wednesday.
Warren comes to Oxford after one season at Washington State under Shulenberger.
Four members on the Cougar roster earned All-West Coast Conference honors in 2024. Washington State finished 7-7-5 and 5-4-2 in the West Coast Conference. It marked the ninth-consecutive season in Shulenberger's 11th year at the helm of the Cougar program WSU finished at or above .500.
Prior to Pullman, Warren served as the head coach of Utah Royals FC Arizona U17, U16, and U15 clubs. He also served as the Phoenix-based club's Girls College Director, overseeing the development and recruitment of prospective college student-athletes.
Warren served as the head coach at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) from 2011-2015. He orchestrated a turnaround season for the Blazers in 2013 as the team finished 11-7-2, marking just the seventh season in which the Green and Gold reached 11 wins, dating back to the inaugural season in 1996.
Prior to UAB, Warren spent four seasons on the west coast, serving as the associate head coach at USC, helping the Trojans to a NCAA Division-I National Championship in 2007. The 2007 campaign saw the Trojans finish with a 20-3-2 record as they recorded 15 shutouts and allowed only 13 goals all season. In the four years Warren was on staff at USC, the Trojans earned berths in the NCAA Tournament each of those seasons while compiling a cumulative record of 61-20-10.
Before his time at Southern Cal, Warren spent four seasons at Arizona, helping the Wildcats to an NCAA Tournament third round appearance in 2005. The Wildcats would tally 40 wins with Warren on staff.
Warren served one year as an assistant at UC Irvine in 2002, where he was also responsible for directing the UC Irvine Soccer Academy. He also spent 17 years coaching at the club level, capturing league championships with Riverside Soccer Club and the Long Beach Sidekicks. From 1991-92, he was the head coach for the boys' varsity team at Savanna High School in Anaheim.
As a player, Warren was a defender and a forward at Riverside Community College before transferring to Cal State Fullerton in 1989. He then transferred to Cal Poly Pomona, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in communications in 2002.
