Soccer Falls in Regular Season Finale at Texas

AUSTIN – The Ole Miss Soccer team concluded its season Sunday after falling 0-2 against Texas in Austin. The Longhorns were lifted by a pair of goals from Ava McDonald and Villarrel Villarreal.

The match remained scoreless until the 19th minute when Longhorns would score two just 21 seconds apart.

Texas would lead 2-0 at the half.

Ole Miss was unable to find the back of the net over the final 45 minutes of action and were shutout for just the fourth time this season. Taylor Prigge tied a career-high with six saves.
