NFL Rebels Update: Week 15

OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL.

Eighteen former Rebels saw action in Week 15. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown had a huge game, catching eight passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in a 27-13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. For Brown, 82.1% of his receptions have resulted in an Eagles first down, the highest rate in the league amongst receivers with 30-plus receptions. His 16.9 yards per catch ranks first in the NFL amongst receivers with 50-plus catches. With the win, the Eagles improved to 11-0 in games in which Brown has played this season.

Played 12 special teams snaps in a 37-27 win over the Tennessee Titans. 

#64 Nick Broeker | OT | Houston Texans
Played four snaps on special teams in a 20-12 win over the Miami Dolphins.

#11 A.J. Brown | WR | Philadelphia Eagles
Started at wide receiver, catching eight passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in a 27-13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

#77 Ben Brown | OL | New England Patriots
Started at center, playing all 51 offensive snaps in a loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

#30 AJ Finley | S | Seattle Seahawks
Played 17 total snaps in a loss to the Green Bay Packers.

#18 Malik Heath | WR | Green Bay Packers
Was not active in a win over the Seattle Seahawks.

#21 Mike Hilton | CB | Cincinnati Bengals
Recorded six total tackles, including three tackles for loss, one pass defended, and one interception in a 37-27 win over the Tennessee Titans.

#52 Cedric Johnson | DE | Cincinnati Bengals
Played 22 total snaps, recording one tackle in a win over the Tennessee Titans.

#94 Benito Jones | DT | Miami Dolphins
Started at defensive tackle, playing 26 snaps in a loss to the Houston Texans.

#93 D.J. Jones | DT | Denver Broncos 
Recorded three total tackles and one fumble recovery in a 31-13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

#88 Dawson Knox | TE | Buffalo Bills
Recorded two catches for 42 yards, including a one-handed snag for a 23-yard gain in the fourth quarter of a 48-42 win over the Detroit Lions.

#33 Deane Leonard | CB | Los Angeles Chargers
Played 16 snaps on special teams, recording one tackle in a loss to Tampa Bay.

#14 D.K. Metcalf | WR | Seattle Seahawks 
Hauled in three catches for 28 yards in a loss to the Green Bay Packers.

#81 Jonathan Mingo | WR | Dallas Cowboys
Played 17 total snaps in a 30-14 win over the Carolina Panthers.

#8 Elijah Moore | WR | Cleveland Browns
Hauled in two catches in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

#70 Royce Newman | OL | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Was not active in Week 15.

#24 Deantre Prince | CB | Jacksonville Jaguars
Did not play in the Jaguars’ loss to the New York Jets.

#41 Otis Reese IV | LB | Tennessee Titans
Was not active in a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

#93 Mark Robinson | LB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Recorded one tackle and one forced fumble on special teams in a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
