12/13/2024 | Football
OXFORD, Miss. – Yesterday, we broke down all eight of Ole Miss football's home opponents for the 2025 season, and today we're taking a look at the four road trips, all taking place in Southeastern Conference play.
Ole Miss will host all four of its non-conference games at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, leaving just four road trips in conference play.

Sept. 6 – Kentucky
Ole Miss won't have to wait long to let out its frustrations from this season's home loss to Kentucky. In just Week 2, the Rebels will hit the road for the first time to take on the Wildcats, who came to The Vaught this past September and stunned the Rebels in a 20-17 upset in their SEC opener. It will be the 46th meeting between the teams, where Ole Miss will look for its 30th win in the series, which stands at 29-15-1 in favor of the Rebels. The win in Oxford was Kentucky's only league win as it finished 4-8 overall and 1-7 in the SEC, breaking a string of eight straight bowl bids under head coach Mark Stoops.
Oct. 18 – Georgia
About a month and a half later, Ole Miss will have its next and toughest road trip of the season, a date with Georgia in Sanford Stadium in Athens. The Rebels dominated the eventual SEC Champion Bulldogs 28-10 when they came to Oxford earlier this year, and there's no doubt UGA will look to flip the script in 2025. Georgia has won four straight since losing to the Rebels and holds the No. 2 spot in the College Football Playoff. It will be the 48th meeting between the programs. Georgia leads the all-time series, 33-13-1.
Oct. 25 – Oklahoma
Ole Miss took down Oklahoma 26-14 in the first SEC meeting between the schools earlier this fall to move to 2-0 all-time against the Sooners, including 1999's Independence Bowl win. Next year, the Rebels will make their first trip to Norman. Oklahoma went 6-6 in its first season in the SEC, highlighted by a late-season 24-3 win over Alabama to extend its bowl streak to 26, dating back to that turn-of-the-century Independence Bowl. Oklahoma will close the 2024 campaign on Dec. 27 in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl against Navy.
Nov. 29 – Mississippi State
Ole Miss will take on rival Mississippi State for the 122nd time to close the 2025 regular season. The Rebels beat the Bulldogs 26-14 in Oxford last month to improve to 66-47-6 all-time in the series and 4-1 in the Egg Bowl under head coach Lane Kiffin. MSU finished 2-10 this year in the first season under head coach Jeff Lebby, falling short of a bowl for the second straight season after a string of 13 straight bowl bids from 2010-2022. The rivalry is currently set for Saturday, Nov. 29, but is subject to change as the TV schedule is created.
