NFL Rebels Update: Week 14

Trio of Ole Miss Wideouts Find the End Zone
OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the league again this year, and there are currently 26 former Rebels on NFL rosters, including star second-year wide receivers A.J. Brown and D.K. Metcalf.
A trio of former standout Ole Miss wide receivers scored on Sunday. Laquon Treadwell caught his first touchdown pass of the season with his new team, the Atlanta Falcons. Brown only needed one hand to haul in a 37-yard score, while Metcalf caught his 10th touchdown pass of the season.
Mike Hilton also shined for the Pittsburgh defense on Sunday night, forcing a fumble and recording his second interception of the season. Overall, 11 of them played in Week 14 of the 2020 season. Here's a rundown of how each NFL Rebel performed:
#11 A.J. Brown | WR | Tennessee Titans
Brown made a spectacular one-handed grab for a touchdown in the Titans' 31-10 win over Jacksonville. The wideout finished the game with seven receptions for 112 yards and a score. It marked his third 100-yard effort of the season.
#88 Evan Engram | TE | New York Giants
Caught two passes for 18 yards in the 26-7 loss to the Cardinals.
#38 Myles Hartsfield | CB | Carolina Panthers
Tallied one tackle playing eight snaps as a reserve free safety and 19 on special teams as the Panthers fell to the Broncos 32-27.
#98 Marquis Haynes | DE | Carolina Panthers
Was listed as inactive in the Panthers' matchup with the Broncos.
#28 Mike Hilton | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Played a stellar defensive game, picking off Josh Allen and forcing a fumble. He finished with five total tackles, including one for a loss, and a pass breakup in the 26-15 loss to the Bills on Sunday Night Football. Hilton was primarily matched up with former Rebel teammate Dawson Knox.

Was listed as inactive in the Panthers' matchup with the Broncos.
#14 D.K. Metcalf | WR | Seattle Seahawks
Metcalf celebrated his birthday a day early in the end zone, scoring his 10th touchdown of the season on a five-yard fade route. He finished the game with six catches for 61 yards and a score in the Seahawks' 40-3 win over the Jets.
#14 Donte Moncrief | WR | New England Patriots
Appeared on 17 snaps, primarily on special teams, in the 24-3 loss to the Rams on Thursday Night Football.
#33 A.J. Moore | S | Houston Texans
Played 17 snaps as a reserve free safety on defense and 25 snaps on special teams as the Texans fell to the Bears 36-7.
#49 C.J. Moore | S | Detroit Lions
Was listed as inactive in the Lions' matchup with the Packers.
#80 Laquon Treadwell | WR | Atlanta Falcons
Made his debut with the Falcons, catching a nine-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Treadwell and the Falcons went on fall to the Chargers 20-17.
