Rebels Outshoot Morehead State

OXFORD, Miss.-The No. 10 Ole Miss rifle team concluded their final home match of the fall with a win over Morehead State on Saturday at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center.
Recapping the Match vs. Morehead State
The Rebels collectively shot 4642 to top the Eagles 4604 score. Ole Miss beat Morehead State in both air (2347) and smallbore (2295) and posted five new personal records.
Sophomore Harley Gardner led the Rebels with the highest score in both air rifle and smallbore, setting an air rifle personal best of 592. This score contributed to the team's total of 2347.
Other personal bests from the match included air rifle scores from sophomore Samantha Sandifer (580) and freshman Jillian Tyler (584) and smallbore scores from sophomore Marina Noble (577) and freshman Hayley Carroll (572). This marked the third week in a row Tyler has surpassed a career-high.
