No. 5 Rifle Sweeps the Weekend at No. 11 Air Force
10/18/2026 | Rifle
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The No. 5 Ole Miss rifle program remained unbeaten on the young season, taking down No. 11 Air Force for the second straight day, winning 4744-4682 on Sunday.
The Rebels (6-0, 4-0 PRC) were powered by an 1190 aggregate score from Audrey Gogniat. For the second straight day, the Rebels occupied all the top five finishes, to comfortably defeat the Falcons (0-2, 0-2 PRC).
The day opened with a career-day in smallbore from Regan Diamond, who notched a personal best of 591, alongside another vintage performance from Gogniat who tallied a 592. That would be enough to give the Rebels a convincing lead of 2357-2309.
Air Force delivered a response in air rifle as Lily Wytko finished third with a 597, but the Rebels proved to be too strong as a unit, cruising to victory.
Gogniat and Gracie Dinh each shined, tallying 598's to share the top spot in air rifle. Gogniat led the field in centers in both smallbore (38) and air rifle (56).
The Rebels finished with the top five shooters of the day once again behind Gogniat, Diamond (1186), Dinh (1185), Jordan de Jesus (1183) and Kamdyn McFarland (1177).
The Rebels will now return home for the final time this fall, hosting No. 6 Georgia Southern on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 8 a.m. CT.
