10/17/2026 | Rifle

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The No. 5 Ole Miss rifle program kept the hot start to the season going, powering past No. 11 Air Force, 4747-4686, on Saturday at the USAFA Rifle Range.

The Rebels (5-0, 3-0 PRC) were led from a big day from junior Jordan de Jesus, who tallied an aggregate score of 1191, matching a career-high in air rifle with a 598. The Rebels held the top five aggregate scores of the day, with the leading Falcons (0-1, 0-1 PRC), Grayson Muller and Prisha Thomas finishing in sixth and seventh with an 1171.

The Rebels opened the day by building a convincing lead from smallbore, as de Jesus led the charge, firing a 593 with 37 centers. The Rebels would take a 2360-2323 lead into air rifle, recording the team's highest smallbore total of the young season.

From there, the Rebels cruised through air rifle, as Audrey Gogniat took a perfect relay into the fifth round, eventually tallying a 598. De Jesus matched Gogniat step-for-step, also recording a 598.

Ultimately, the Rebels comfortably pulled away, recording another season best of 2387 in air rifle to finish the day with 4747, which ranks as the third-highest aggregate total in the nation as of completion of play on Saturday.

The Rebels finished with the top five shooters of the day, led by de Jesus, Gogniat (1187), Gracie Dinh (1186), Regan Diamond (1183) and Kamdyn McFarland (1173).

The Rebels are back in action on Sunday, for a second battle with Air Force. Action opens at 10:15 a.m. CT.
