SERIES INFORMATION
This marked the 99th all-time meeting between Ole Miss and LSU dating back to 1894. LSU is Ole Miss' second-most played opponent behind Mississippi State, whom the Rebels will play for the 107th time on Nov. 27 LSU now holds a 56-39-4 advantage in the series. This snaps a two-game win streak in the series by the Rebels.

GENERAL NOTES
Head coach Houston Nutt is now 6-7 all-time against LSU. The loss snaps a three-game win streak by a Houston Nutt coached team, as he won his last game against the Tigers while coaching at Arkansas. He then won his first two at Ole Miss.
The Rebels are now 8-3 in November games under Houston Nutt.
OFFENSE
The 420 yards of total offense by the Rebels is the third most allowed by LSU this season. Auburn totaled 526 and North Carolina had 436.
36 points is the most points given up by the LSU defense this season. They came into the game ranked No. 2 in the SEC and No. 6 nationally in total defense.
The 17 points scored in the first half by the Rebels, is the most points LSU has given up in the first half this season.
With his 2nd touchdown in the game, junior Brandon Bolden scored his 13th career rushing touchdown, which is second most in school history. Bolden now has 22 career rushing scores, which is tied for second in Ole Miss history with John Fourcade and Joe Gunn.
Jeremiah Masoli's 65-yard touchdown pass to Markeith Summers was the second longest completion for Masoli this season. The longest was a 70-yard TD strike to Summers in the Tulane game.
Jeremiah Masoli ran for 64-yards for a total of 531 this season. He needs 12 yards to break Norris Weese's single-season Ole Miss record of 542 yards by a quarterback.
DEFENSE
Senior safety Fon Ingram grabbed his fourth career interception and first this year when he picked off Jordan Jefferson in the third quarter.
For the fourth time this season, Ole Miss has two players with double-digit tackles, as Johnny Brown tallied 11 and Jonathan Cornell registered 10.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Sophomore placekicker Bryson Rose has connected on 52-for-54 kicks this season. He had a 24-yard field goal in the first quarter and was 3-for-3 on extra points.
Sophomore punter Tyler Campbell averaged 62.0 yards per punt today. He ranked second in the SEC in punting coming into the game.
Senior Fon Ingram recovered the fumbled kickoff return forced by Lekenwic Haynes after the Rebels' had scored to go ahead 24-23.
Jeff Scott had the second highest kick-return yardage in a game by a Rebel with 188 yards. Current Pittsburgh Steeler Mike Wallace has the most with 202 yards on Sept. 20, 2008 against Vanderbilt.
