Ole Miss Postgame Notes
SERIES INFORMATION
- This game was the 41st meeting between Ole Miss and Kentucky. The Rebels hold a 27-13-1 lead in the all-time series.
- Ole Miss has won seven of the last nine games played in the series and holds an 8-2 advantage in games played in Oxford.
- The Rebels improve to 3-2 on the season. Ole Miss was 3-2 after five games last season before winning five of its next six games.
- The Rebels are now 17-15 against SEC East foes dating back to 2000.

OFFENSE
- Ole Miss has scored 186 points in the first five games of the season, which is the most points the Rebels have scored in the first five games of a season since scoring 205 points in 1935.
- The 42 points scored by Ole Miss in the game ties the most points ever scored by the Rebels against Kentucky.
- Fullback H.R. Greer scored his first career touchdown on a nine-yard pass from Jeremiah Masoli in the second quarterback. The touchdown was set up by Charles Sawyer's interception return.
- Running back Brandon Bolden scored two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) and has five total touchdowns in the last two games. He finished the game with 108 yards rushing for his third 100-yard rushing game of the season and the fifth of his career.
- Jeremiah Masoli scored career-high four touchdowns against the Wildcats. He threw for a career-best three scores and also added a rushing touchdown.
- This was the first game this season the Rebels did not commit a turnover.
DEFENSE
- The Rebels opened the game in a nickel with five defensive backs. Linebacker D.T. Shackelford also started at defensive end, his first career start.
- Ole Miss forced three turnovers in the game and scored touchdowns after all three turnovers.
- Sophomore D.T. Shackelford forced a fumble deep in Kentucky territory to set up the Rebels' first touchdown in the first quarter. It was Shackelford's first career forced fumble.
- Freshman cornerback Charles Sawyer picked off his first career pass in the second quarter and returned it 36 yards to the Kentucky nine-yard line. It was also the first interception of the season for the Rebels. Sawyer's pick set up the Rebels' second touchdown of the day in the second quarter.
- Junior Damien Jackson forced his first career fumble on the next series after Sawyer's interception. Jackson recovered the fumble and the Rebels' scored on the ensuing drive.
- Senior Fon Ingram lead the team with a career-high 11 tackles (seven solo).
- Sophomore Joel Kight finished with a career-high nine solo tackles.
SPECIAL TEAMS
- Sophomore Bryson Rose converted on all six PATs and is now a perfect 24-for-24 on the year.
- Sophomore Tyler Campbell punted six times for a 43.0-yard average and a long of 58 yards. The 58-yard boot was Campbell's second-longest punt of the season.
- Sophomore Jesse Grandy had a career long 73-yard punt return. Grandy finished the game with two punt returns for 73 yards. He also added two kickoff returns for 23 yards and rushed four times for 24 yards.

Team Records and Series Notes
· Kentucky is 3-2, 0-2 in the Southeastern Conference. Ole Miss is 3-2, 1-1 in the SEC.
· Ole Miss leads the series, 27-13-1. UM has won one in a row.
· Ole Miss leads the series, 8-2, in games played in Oxford. UK's last win in Oxford was 1978.
· Kentucky's next game is its SEC home opener next Saturday, Oct. 9, vs. Auburn. The game is set for 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2.
UK Team Notes
Kentucky won the toss and elected to receive.
After scoring a TD on the opening drive, Kentucky has scored on its opening possession in four of five games this season. (3 TDs, 1 FG) Derrick Locke accounted for all 60 yards on the TD drive.
With 124 yards rushing today, Kentucky fell short of 200 yards rushing for the first time this season.
UK threw for 300 passing yards today. The last time UK totaled 300 yards passing was vs. Florida State (358 yards) on Dec. 31, 2007.
Kentucky outgained Ole Miss in total yards, 424-to-301 yards.
Ole Miss totaled 21 points off three Kentucky turnovers, including UK's first two lost fumbles of the season.
UK Individual Notes
Derrick Locke tied a career high with eight catches for a career-high 108 receiving yards.
Locke also rushed 19 times for 68 yards and two touchdowns.
He now has 2,274 career yards on the ground and ranks 6th on UK's all-time rushing list. He needs 374 more to tie George Adams (1981-84) for 5th place.
Locke gained 214 all-purpose yards with 68 rushing yards, 108 receiving yards and 38 kickoff return yards. He now has 4,262 yards in his career and ranks 4th on the all-time all-purpose yard list. He needs 18 more to tie Craig Yeast (1995-98) for 3rd.
Derrick Locke and Randall Cobb both gained 108 yards receiving. The last time two UK players totaled 100 or more receiving yards in a game was Rafael Little and Jacob Tamme vs. Tennessee in 2007.
Randall Cobb totaled six catches for a career-high 108 yards and a touchdown.
Cobb totaled a career-high 267 all-purpose yards with 10 rushing yards, 108 receiving yards, 85 punt return yards and 64 kick-off return yards. His previous high was 237 all-purpose yards vs. Mississippi State in 2009.
Mike Hartline completed 27-of-46 passes for a career-high 300 yards with two touchdowns.
Hartline now has 3,724 career passing yards and ranks 8th on UK's all-time list. He needs 424 more passing yards to tie Randy Jenkins (1979-83) for 7th place.
Danny Trevathan led UK with a career-high 15 tackles, including 10 solo tackles and two tackles for losses.
Ryan Tydlacka punted four times for a 50.5 yard avg, including a career-long 73 yarder.
Junior Matt Roark earned his first career start at wide receiver.
