Ole Miss Finishes 13th At Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

ATHENS, Ga. -- The Ole Miss women's golf team finished in 13th place Sunday at the 2001 Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic, held at the University of Georgia Golf Course. The Lady Rebels shot a three-day total of 319-322-321--962.
Duke University took the team championship with a 291-303-308 .902. Georgia finished 11 strokes back with a 304-31-308 .913 for second place.
Ole Miss' Marci Kornegay finished tied for 26th place individually with a three-day total of 73-77-84--234. Bernadette Luse tied for 31st place with a 54-hole total of 78-80-77 .235. Teresa Brown finished the weekend tied for 63rd place with a 84-83-79 .246.
Elizabeth Hoffman completed the weekend tied for 69th place with a 54-hole total of 84-83-81 .248. Kerrie Davis finished tied for 80th place with a 84-82-87 .253.
The Lady Rebels will be back in action on April 6-8 at the 2001 LSU/Cleveland Classic in Baton Rouge, La.
