Women's Golf Finishes Ninth In Honolulu

Honolulu, Hawaii - The Ole Miss women's golf team closed out their fall schedule with an 9TH place finish at the Rainbow Wahine Fall Classic on Wednesday. The Lady Rebels finshed the tournament with a final round score of 307. They completed the tournament with a three-round total of 944 (317-320-307).

UCLA claimed the tournament title with a score of 899 (298-299-302). New Mexico State finished in second with a score of 904 (307-303-294).

Ole Miss senior Teresa Brown finished in 25th place with a score of 234 (76-80-78). Kerrie Davis tied for 28th place after carding a season-best round of 74, for a total of 235 (83-78- 74). Marci Kornegay finished tied for 42nd place with a score of 237 (74-82-81) and Elizabeth Hoffman finished tied for 45th place with a final score of 238 (84-80-74).

The Lady Rebels will be back in action on Feb. 23-25, when they travel to Gainesville, Fla., to participate in the SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational.
