Lady Golfers Finish 15th At Mercedes-Benz Women's Championship

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Ole Miss women's golf team finished in 15th place at the Mercedes-Benz Women's Championships held at the Gettysvue Polo, Golf, and Country Club. The Lady Rebels finished with three-day score of 980 (331-319-330). Duke University won the tournament championship with a three-day score of 890 (300-297-293).

For the Lady Rebels, Teresa Brown (81-81-82) and Elizabeth Hoffman (81-79-84) tied for 52nd place with a three-day score of 244. Kerrie Davis tied for 61st place with a three-day total of 247 (85-79-83). Teesha Ash finished 66th with a three-day total of 249 (87-80-82) and Bernadette Luse finished in 69th place with a three-day score of 252 (84-85-83)

The Lady Rebels will be back in action on Oct 31-Nov. 1, when they travel to Oahu, Hawaii to participate in the Rainbow-Wahini Invitational.
