- Title:
- Graduate Assistant, Offense
In his first season, his assistance with the offensive line helped Ole Miss shatter numerous school records while leading the SEC and ranking top-10 nationally in scoring, total offense and passing yards.
McCray returned to Ole Miss after giving the NFL a shot. He was picked up as an undrafted free agent by the St. Louis Rams in 2014, but did not land a roster spot.
McCray played in 38 career games with 17 starts at left tackle during his four-year Rebel career. He also helped block for two of the best offenses in school history. After serving as the full-time starter at left tackle his junior year, he played both tackles and guard in 2013.
The Jackson, Mississippi native helped turn around the Rebels' fortunes with back-to-back bowl wins after the 2012 and 2013 seasons in the BBVA Compass Bowl and Music City Bowl, respectively. He was selected to play in the 2014 Medal of Honor Bowl, a post-collegiate all-star game.
