Women’s Golf Earns Pair of Preseason Top-25 Rankings

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss women's golf will begin the 2026-27 season ranked inside the top 25 by Golf Channel and Golfweek, the outlets announced Monday.
The Rebels checked in at No. 19 in the Golf Channel preseason top 30 and No. 24 in Golfweek's preseason rankings. Ole Miss is one of 18 programs included in the top 25 of both rankings.
Juniors Kajsalotta Svarvar and Mary Miller also received preseason recognition from Golf Channel, with both Rebels earning honorable mention All-America honors.
Svarvar earned WGCA and Golfweek honorable mention All-America honors following a standout sophomore campaign. The Halmstad, Sweden, native led Ole Miss with a 71.39 stroke average while collecting four top-five finishes, five top-10 finishes and six top-20 finishes. She tied for third at the NCAA Louisville Regional before finishing tied for 18th at the NCAA Championship.
Miller earned second-team All-SEC honors in her first season with the Rebels. The Savannah, Georgia, native posted a 72.00 stroke average and recorded one top-five finish, five top-10 finishes and eight top-20 finishes. Miller also tied for second at the SEC Championship at 6-under 204 and added a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Louisville Regional.
Ole Miss returns six golfers from a team that advanced to the NCAA Championship for the fourth consecutive season and seventh time in program history. The Rebels captured two team titles, advanced to match play at the SEC Championship and tied for fourth at the NCAA Louisville Regional during the 2025-26 season.
The Rebels begin the 2026-27 campaign Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at the Boilermaker Classic in West Lafayette, Indiana. Ole Miss returns to the Kampen-Cosler Course after winning last season's event at 2-under 862.
