Five Rebels Named to 2026 SEC Soccer Preseason Watch List

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference released the 2026 SEC Soccer Preseason Watch List Monday morning, naming five Rebels to the list of players to look out for this season.
Paxton Bock, Ava Ghoreishi, Audrey Shackelford, Jenna Studer, and Alena Watts were all selected to the Preseason Watch List.
Bock, a junior transfer from SMU, is in her first season with Ole Miss. In two seasons with the Mustangs, Bock played in 32 games and covered 1,048 minutes on the pitch. Last season, Bock dished out four assists from the back line.
Ghoreishi, a transfer from Washington State, played her freshman season for the Cougars and head coach Todd Shulenberger in 2025. Ghoreishi played in 18 matches and 1,436 minutes on the pitch. She scored her first collegiate goal early in the season against Georgia and dished out her first career assist against LMU.
Shackelford, a transfer from Washington State, played her sophomore season for the Cougars and spent her freshman season at Arkansas. Last season, she scored two goals and dished out four assists for eight total points on the season. Shackelford was named All-WCC Second Team for her efforts.
Studer, a transfer from Washington State, spent four seasons with the Cougars and two with Arizona before making her way to Oxford. Studer has played 75 career matches and 5,055 total minutes over six injury-hampered seasons. Her 2025 season was cut short by injury, but in 2024 Studer played in 19 matches and scored two goals with one assist for five total points.
Watts, a transfer from Washington State, played her first three seasons with the Cougars, playing in 46 total matches and 3,103 minutes on the pitch. In 2025, Watts played in all 19 matches and spent 1,678 minutes on the field.
