SERIES HISTORY
Ole Miss and Tennessee will share the basketball court for the 63rd time in its shared history. The Lady Volunteers hold a 53-9 advantage in a series that dates to 1977. Ole Miss ended an eight-game losing skid to Tennessee in 2024 with an 80-75 victory in Oxford. Marquesha Davis led the Rebels with 23 points while Madison Scott secured a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Last time against the Lady Vols, KK Deans led the way with 22 points, but the Rebels fell, 80-71 in Knoxville. Eighteen of Deans' points were from beyond the arc, and she was one of four Rebels to score at least 10 points. Defensively, Ole Miss forced 20 Tennessee turnovers while recording 11 steals.

Ole Miss legend Peggie Gillom had the best individual scoring effort in program history against Tennessee in 1978. She scored 45 points off 21 made field goals. That record has stood the test of time and remains the highest-scoring game by a Rebel in Ole Miss history.

Likewise, it's the most points scored against a Lady Volunteer squad in their history.

SCOUTING THE LADY VOLUNTEERS
Kim Caldwell is in her second season of command of Tennessee's historic women's basketball program. So far this season, the Lady Volunteers are 16-7 overall and 8-3 against SEC foes.

Tennessee features a quartet of double-digit scorers, headed by the guard-forward duo of Talaysia Cooper and Janiah Barker. Both players put up at least 14 points per game and at least five rebounds per game to boot. Barker's 6.7 boards per game is the most on the team. Meanwhile, Cooper's 3.9 assists per game are tops for the team. She's also a highly capable defender, averaging 3.0 steals per game, which is fourth in the SEC and top 20 nationally.

Spearman and Barker are dominant in the paint, especially on their side of the court. The pair have made Tennessee the nation's 11th-best offensive rebounding team in the country, bringing in 15.9 per game. Spearman brings in 3.0 offensive boards, while Barker has 2.0.

Facing Tennessee means Ole Miss is facing back-to-back quality three-point shooting teams. Tennessee is second in the SEC in 3-pointers per game with 9.5 on average, which is eighth nationally. However, the Lady Volunteers rank near the bottom of the conference in long distance percentage, making only 30.2 percent of those shots.

Other notable Lady Volunteers are Mia Pauldo and Nya Robertson. Pauldo, alongside twin sister Mya, is one of the most promising freshmen in the SEC this season. She averages 11.6 points per game, while adding 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists. As for Robertson, she's entering Tuesday's matchup with the ninth-most points by any active SEC player with 1540 throughout her four-year collegiate career.

LAST TIME OUT
No. 14/16 Ole Miss women's basketball fell to No. 18/19 Kentucky, 74-57, Sunday afternoon in Lexington at Historic Memorial Coliseum.

Ole Miss made a valiant second half effort to make a comeback, but lost steam in the fourth quarter. Latasha Lattimore recorded her third consecutive double-double, finishing with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Her and teammate Christeen Iwuala have both had three-game double-double streaks this season, which previously hadn't happened since Madison Scott did so in the 2022-23 season.

Lattimore added three blocks to her stat line, a feat she's done 10 times this season. She's the first Rebel since the 2021-22 season to have at least three blocks in 10 games in a single season. Now at 56 blocks this season, she has the most by any Rebel in a single season since 2021-22 as well.

Cotie McMahon and Iwuala both joined Lattimore in the double-digit scoring club for the day, adding 18 and 10 points, apiece. McMahon led the team with her total, which is her 18th time doing so this season, and moved into the top five of career points by any Rebel with 1999.

Kentucky's Clara Strack scored 28 points against Ole Miss and also paced the team in rebounds with nine.

HISTORY REWRITTEN
Ole Miss and head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin have reached the 20-overall win plateau for a fifth consecutive season and the 23rd time in program history. It marks the first time in the 21st century that Ole Miss has reached at least 20 wins in five straight seasons and first since Van Chancellor led 11 consecutive teams to that mark from 1981-92.

This year, the Rebels look to tally at least 10 SEC wins for the fifth consecutive season. Coach Yo is the only coach in program history to have at least 20 overall wins and 10 SEC wins in four seasons at the helm.

HOME SWEET HOME
Rebel nation has turned the SJB Pavilion into an intimidating environment for visiting teams, especially in the nonconference slate. Ole Miss has won 39 of its last 42 games at home against nonconference opponents, dating back to the 2020 season. This season, the Rebels went undefeated in nonconference games at the SJB Pavilion with eight wins. It's the fourth time under Coach Yo and marks back-to-back seasons where Ole Miss has recorded the same feat.

Halfway through February, the Rebels remain undefeated on Craddock Court, at 12-0, with just three regular season games remaining in Oxford.

NO FLY ZONE
As a team, Ole Miss has rejected 131 shots so far this season for an average of 5.0 blocks per game. The Rebels are on pace for 156 blocks this season at their current pace, which would be the third most in program history. All 12 Rebels has earned at least one block so far this season.

Latasha Lattimore leads the Rebels with 56 total blocks, ranking third in the SEC and 15th in the nation. She surpassed the 50-block mark for the year, marking two of the last three seasons Ole Miss has had at least one player reach that defensive standard. She's the first Rebel since the 2021-22 season to have at least three blocks in 10 games in a single season. Now at 56 blocks this season, she has the most by any Rebel in a single season since 2021-22 as well. Lattimore tallied a 12 consecutive game streak with at least one block this season from the George Mason game on November 29, 2025 to the Oklahoma game on January 8, 2026, marking the longest such streak by a Rebel since Dominique Banks had a 17-game streak during the 2019-20 season.

SHE'S THE mcMAHON
Cotie McMahon has provided a spark to the Ole Miss offense in her first season in Oxford. She scored at least 10 points in each of Ole Miss' first 19 games this season, tying Bianca Thomas for the longest such streak in recent memory by a Rebel, who started the 2009-10 season with 19 consecutive games of double-digit points.

McMahon has tied Armintie Price' 2006-07 season for the seventh-most 20-point games in a single season by a Rebel with 15 on the year. With her performance, she's pulled one point away of 2,000 points in her overall career, a mark achieved by only four Rebels previously and not since Angel Baker did so in 2022-23.

Last game against Kentucky, McMahon moved into the top five of scoring by any Rebel in program history, with 1999 points. She surpassed Eugenia Conner who tallied 1993 career points from 1981-85.

McMahon likes to share the love, as the four times that she has earned a double-double in a game, another Rebel has earned the same feat. Alongside McMahon, Christeen Iwuala earned double-doubles against Southern and Memphis, Latasha Lattimore earned one against Wofford and Sira Thienou notched a double-double versus Missouri.
