Men’s Tennis Moves Match Against Tulane to Friday Afternoon

OXFORD, Miss. – After beginning the season 4-0 this past weekend, Ole Miss is set to host Tulane in Oxford, Mississippi, on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the William F. Galtney Indoor Tennis Center.
Tulane is taking the Friday slot originally scheduled against Charlotte. Originally, the match against Tulane was scheduled for a doubleheader on Sunday, which included a match against Eastern Kentucky.
However, because of the inclement weather forecast for Sunday, matches against Charlotte and Eastern Kentucky have been canceled.
Coach Jake Jacoby is coming off his first victories as head coach of the Rebels and will look to continue building on the gained momentum. Tulane will come to Oxford after a 7-0 outing against Southern University. Tulane also arrives with the No. 68 duo in the ITA rankings, Daniel Phillips and Alec Gaudin.
The Rebels early season standouts include sophomore Matthieu Chambonniere, who has impressed at No. 1 singles, and the duo of Isac Strömberg and Kai Milburn, who have showcased their power at No. 1 doubles.

- Finished the 2024 season with a 23-7 singles record and a 14-15 doubles record
