No. 5 Men’s Golf Finishes Second at Visit Knoxville Collegiate

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 5 Ole Miss men's golf team finished second to open the 2025 season at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate. The Rebels posted (828, -12) with four players finishing inside the top 15.
It was tough sledding on Sunday at Tennessee National as every team except Ole Miss recorded an over par score. The Rebels had the low round at (278, -3) but it wasn't enough to catch Tennessee who finished at (821, -19) for the tournament.
Cohen Trolio tied his career best finish of third, carding a three-round total of (204, -6).
Cameron Tankersley was the only Rebel under-par on Sunday, carding a round of four-under 66.
Daniel Tolf carded an ace on the par 3 16th and shot three-under over his final three holes to finish even par for the day.
Tankersley, Tolf and Tom Fischer all finished at (209, -1) and T15 for the tournament.
Ole Miss returns home and will prep for the Honors Course Collegiate, September 15-16. UT Chattanooga will serve as the host in tournaments inaugural playing.
