Tom Fischer and Cameron Tankersley Earn Golfweek All-America Honors

OXFORD, Miss. – The hardware continues to come in for the Ole Miss men's golf team, as Tom Fischer was named to the Golfweek 2026 Men's College Golf All-America Second Team and Cameron Tankersley to the third team, on Wednesday.
Since 1999, Golfweek has selected All-Americans in addition to Players and Coaches of the Year in men's and women's college golf. The tradition of honoring the best in college golf continues this year.
Fischer earns even more recognition for his incredible senior campaign, including PING All-Region honors, a spot on the finalist list for the Haskins Award, and a spot on the All-SEC First Team. He wrapped the 2025-26 season with a career-best 70.06 stroke average, the fifth-best mark in a single season in school history, with 28 rounds at par or better, tied for the third-most in a single season at Ole Miss.
This marks the second All-America honor for Fischer after earning an honorable mention nod a season ago, making him the sixth golfer in program history to earn the award multiple times.
The 14th All-American in school history, Tankersley adds to his trophy shelf this season which already includes PING All-Region and All-SEC honors. He capped off a brilliant senior season with a second-place finish at the NCAA Winston-Salem Regional, shooting a 16 under par to mark the second-best three-round tournament performance in school history. Tankersley continued to roll at the NCAA Championship, advancing to the fourth day of stroke play to compete for an individual national title.
His final season stroke average of 70.43 ranks among the best performances in school history, while his 15 rounds in the 60's this past year is the fourth-most in a single season at Ole Miss.
