Ole Miss earned its first No. 1 ranking on October 23, 2024, and received its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history. The Rebels finished as semifinalists at the 2025 NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa, in Carlsbad, California.
The team claimed three team titles in 2024-25, the most wins since 2016-17. Michael La Sasso and Tom Fischer both tallied their first individual collegiate wins, and six players finished inside the top five at least once. The group set a program record for the most team rounds under par in a single season and the most team rounds of par or better at 26. The Rebels finished inside the top five nine times, the most since 1984-85.
THE FAB FOUR
Ole Miss returns the foursome of Tom Fischer, Michael La Sasso, Cameron Tankersley and Cohen Trolio. All four seniors are ranked inside the top 60 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings and were named to the PGA TOUR University preseason rankings. The group looks to lead Ole Miss back to postseason golf for the ninth straight season.
YOUNG AND HUNGRY
Jacob Blanton and Collins Trolio round out the returners from the 2024-25 roster. Blanton took a redshirt his freshman year and looks to make an impact in year two with the Rebels. Collins Trolio made seven individual starts last year and showed promise as a sophomore. Trolio is the younger brother of Cohen as the two get to compete for the same program for the second straight year.
Finn Meister and Daniel Tolf were the 2025 signees Chris Malloy and Emerson Newsome tabbed from the high school ranks. Meister was the No. 2 recruit out of the state of Arizona by Junior Golf Scoreboard and competed in the 2024 Korn Ferry event - The Ascendant presented by Blue. Tolf hails from Gothenburg, Sweden and is quite the stature for an 18-year-old freshman. The lengthy hitter tallied three wins and 19 top 10 finishes prior to arriving in Oxford.
