No. 23 Women’s Golf Opens Season at Boilermaker Classic

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Ole Miss women's golf will kick off the 2025-26 season Sept. 1-2 at the Boilermaker Classic in West Lafayette, Indiana. Entering her 11th season at the helm of the Rebels, Kory Henkes looks to guide Ole Miss back to the big dance for the eighth straight year.
BEHIND THE ARCHITECTURE
The Kampen-Cosler Course, a Pete Dye design, is an 18-hole, links-style, par-72 championship golf course featuring large bent-grass greens, fairways and tees. The layout presents a challenge for golfers of all abilities with vast sand bunkers, native grasslands, ponds and a natural celery bog. Kampen-Cosler will play Par 72 / 6,299 Yards for the Boilermaker Classic.

SNAPSHOT OF 2024-25
In year 10 under Henkes, Ole Miss returned to the NCAA Championships for the third consecutive season and the sixth time in program history. The Rebels earned two team wins including a sweep at the Mary Fossum Invitational. Ole Miss reached its seventh straight NCAA Tournament appearance and fifth straight regional in which the team earned a No. 4 seed or better. Henkes guided five players in 2024-25 to at least one top 10 finish.
SIX STRONG
Ole Miss returns 75 percent of their 2024-25 roster. Senior Nicole Gal earned Second Team All-SEC honors and sophomore Kajsalotta Svarvar was named to the SEC All-Freshman team a season ago. Sophie Linder enters her third season at Ole Miss and has tallied 69 rounds as a Rebel. The international duo of Filippa Sundquist and Larissa Carrillo look to bring a spark during their sophomore campaigns after playing postseason golf as freshman. Emerson Blair rounds out the six-returners ready take Ole Miss back to the NCAA Tournament.
NEW FACES
Kory Henkes and Zack Siefert added true freshman Matilda Björkman as part of the 2025 class and picked up sophomore Mary Miller via the portal. Björkman, a native of Töreboda, Västergötland, Sweden, accumulated a plethora of honors, most notably winning the 2023 Swedish Junior Tour Elite #1. She earned 14 top 10 finishes across amateur events prior to arriving in Oxford.
Mary Miller comes to Ole Miss after one year at Georgia Southern. Miller started all 13 tournaments as a freshman and set a program record 37 rounds played, the most in a single season at GSU. She finished with six top 10 finishes and seven top 20s. Miller won her first collegiate event at the More Than Golf Invitational.
UP NEXT
Following play in West Lafayette, the Rebels will head to Charleston for the Cougar Classic September 8-9. Yeamans Hall Club will be the site of the two-day tournament with the College of Charleston to serve as the host.
