Men’s Tennis Set for Final Road Matches of the Regular Season

OXFORD, Miss - The Ole Miss men's tennis team will hit the road for their final SEC road matches of the 2024-25 regular season.
The Rebels will head to Lexington for a matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats on Thursday, April 3 at 5:30 p.m. CT. Ole Miss will then head to Music City to square off against Vanderbilt for a Saturday afternoon showdown in Nashville at 12:00 p.m. CST on April 5.

THE REBELS
Matthieu Chambonniere (Fr.) - Paris, Île-de-France
-Earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors on March 5
-Holds a 21-7 overall record on the singles courts and has tallied 13 doubles wins on the season
-Defeated LSU's Brock Anderson, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 to clinch the Rebels first SEC win of the 2025 season
-Named the Houndstooth Draw doubles champions at the SEC Challenge with doubles partner Benjamin Martin in the fall
Marcel Kamrowski (Jr.) - Gdańsk, Poland
-Junior transfer from Middle Tennessee State
-Defeated LSU's Alessio Vasquez 6-3, 6-4 to help the Rebel's defeat the Tigers and clinch their first SEC win of the season
-Went 2-0 in his Ole Miss debut against Tulane
-Defeated Asaf Friedler and Vincent Vohl, 6-4, with partner Kai Milburn to tally his first doubles win as a Rebel
Loan Lestir (Fr.) - Lille, France
-Has tallied 13 singles wins this season
-Made his collegiate dual match debut against Memphis and clinched the match point for Ole Miss after defeating Michael Kouame, 6-3, 6-7, 6-3
-Named SEC Freshman of the Week on Jan. 22
-Secured a 6-4, 6-3 win over Florida's 113th-ranked player Henry Jefferson
Benjamin Martin (Fr.) - Nort-sur-Erdre, France
-Has captured 10 singles wins in the 2024-25 season
-Named the Houndstooth Draw doubles champions at the SEC Challenge with partner Matthieu Chambonniere
-Clinched the match for Ole Miss against No. 21 Alabama after defeating Zach Foster, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2
-Was one of five Rebels to represent Ole Miss at the ITA Southern Regional in the fall
Kai Milburn (Fr.) - Queenstown, New Zealand
-Arrived to Oxford in January to compete with the Rebels in the spring
-Paired up with Isac Strömberg against Auburn to take down the No. 13 duo in the country, 7-6 (7-5)
-Boasts a 6-2 record on the singles court
-Defeated Georgia's No. 26 duo of Freddy Blaydes and Niels Ratiu 7-5 with partner Isac Stromberg
Noah Schlagenhauf (Jr.) - Nuertingen, Germany
-Holds a 17-15 overall record on the singles court in his junior season campaign
-Has tallied 10 doubles wins in the 2025 season
-Advanced to the qualifying round of the ITA-All Americans in the fall
-Defeated No. 84 Dimitris Paliouras, 6-4, 6-4, in win over Georgia Southern
Isac Strömberg (Jr.) - Stockholm, Sweden
-Secured a 7-5 win over Georgia's No. 26 duo of Freddy Blaydes and Niels Ratiu with partner Kai Milburn
-Bested Alabama's No. 62 Andrii Zimnokh, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 in the fall season to earn his first ranked win of the 2024-25 season
-Paired up with Kai Milburn against Auburn to take down the No. 13 duo in the country, 7-6 (7-5)
-Has captured 12 singles wins in the spring campaign
Gordon Whitwell (Jr.) - Oxford, Mississippi
-Defeated Ryan Kitchin and Adrian Contreras (EKU) 6-2 with partner Isac Strömberg to open his junior year spring season
-Secured his first singles win of the spring season over Eastern Kentucky's Darko Kolevski, 6-1, 6-4
-Has secured three wins on the doubles courts with partner Strömberg
-Advanced to the doubles round of 16 at the ITA Southern Regional in the fall season

Last week when the Rebels were in Athens to square off against the Georgia Bulldogs, the ranked duo of Isac Strömberg and Kai Milburn had an electric day on the doubles court. The Rebels went to work and secured a gritty 7-5 win over No. 26 Freddy Blaydes and Niels Ratiu, marking the pair's third ranked win together on the season. This win advanced the Ole Miss duos ranking to the No. 51 slot in the ITA Rankings. The Rebel duo is currently on a three-match win streak when paired together on the doubles court.
TEAM PROFILE: KENTUCKY
Cedric Kauffman is in his 13th season at the helm of the Kentucky men's tennis program. The Wildcats hold an 11-10 (4-7 SEC) overall record in the 2025 season. Leading the way for Kentucky on the singles courts is Jaden Weekes, who boasts an 18-9 season record. On the doubles court, the duo of Charlie Cosnet and Antoine Ghibaudo hold a 6-2 record which is a Wildcat best on the doubles courts. Additionally, Kentucky is No. 37 in team rankings, has three singles in the rankings and the No. 19 ranked doubles pair of Jack Loutit and Eli Stephenson.
TEAM PROFILE: VANDERBILT
Scott Brown is in his second season as head coach for Vanderbilt. The Commodores have an 8-11 (1-8 SEC) record during the 2025 campaign. Henry Ruger leads the way in singles for the Commodores with a 15-10 season record on the singles courts. Hugo Coquelin pairs up with Ruger on the doubles court to make Vanderbilt's best duo, as the pair holds a 10-4 season record thus far. Vanderbilt's No. 37 duo of Nathan Cox and Michael make up the Commodores solo individual ranking.
