Men’s Tennis Welcomes Florida and No. 13 Texas A&M to Oxford

OXFORD, Miss - Ole Miss men's tennis is set to host the Florida Gators and the No. 13 Texas A&M Aggies for a SEC weekend showdown at the Palmer/Salloum Outdoor Tennis Center.
The Rebels (11-6, 2-5 SEC) will first square off against the Florida Gators (9-7, 4-3 SEC) on Friday, March 21 at 4:00 p.m. CT.
Ole Miss will then turn around and welcome No. 13 Texas A&M Aggies (12-5, 5-1 SEC) to Oxford on Sunday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. CT. The match against the Aggies was originally scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CT, but had to me moved up due to weather concerns.

Matthieu Chambonniere (Fr.) - Paris, Île-de-France
-Earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors on March 5
-Holds a 19-6 overall record on the singles courts and has tallied 13 doubles wins on the season
-Defeated LSU's Brock Anderson, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 to clinch the Rebels first SEC win of the 2025 season
-Named the Houndstooth Draw doubles champions at the SEC Challenge with doubles partner Benjamin Martin in the fall
Marcel Kamrowski (Jr.) - Gdańsk, Poland
-Junior transfer from Middle Tennessee State
-Defeated LSU's Alessio Vasquez 6-3, 6-4 to help the Rebel's defeat the Tigers and clinch their first SEC win of the season
-Went 2-0 in his Ole Miss debut against Tulane
-Defeated Asaf Friedler and Vincent Vohl, 6-4, with partner Kai Milburn to tally his first doubles win as a Rebel
Loan Lestir (Fr.) - Lille, France
-Has tallied 12 singles wins this season
-Made his collegiate debut against Memphis and clinched the match point for Ole Miss after defeating Michael Kouame, 6-3, 6-7, 6-3
-Named SEC Freshman of the Week on Jan. 22
-Secured a 6-2, 6-2 win over Matic Kriznik from No. 21 Alabama to help the Rebels secure the upset
Benjamin Martin (Fr.) - Nort-sur-Erdre, France
-Has captured 10 singles wins in the 2024-25 season
-Named the Houndstooth Draw doubles champions at the SEC Challenge with partner Matthieu Chambonniere
-Clinched the match for Ole Miss against No. 21 Alabama after defeating Zach Foster, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2
-Was one of five Rebels to represent Ole Miss at the ITA Southern Regional in the fall
Kai Milburn (Fr.) - Queenstown, New Zealand
-Arrived to Oxford in January to compete with the Rebels in the spring
-Paired up with Isac Strömberg against Auburn to take down the No. 13 duo in the country, 7-6 (7-5)
-Boasts a 5-1 record on the singles court
-Defeated Asaf Friedler and Vincent Vohl 6-4 with partner Marcel Kamrowski to earn his first doubles win as a Rebel
Noah Schlagenhauf (Jr.) - Nuertingen, Germany
-Holds a 16-12 overall record on the singles court in his junior season campaign
-Has tallied 10 doubles wins in the 2025 season
-Advanced to the qualifying round of the ITA-All Americans in the fall
-Defeated No. 84 Dimitris Paliouras, 6-4, 6-4, in win over Georgia Southern
Isac Strömberg (Jr.) - Stockholm, Sweden
-Defeated Adrian Contreras (EKU), 6-3, 6-1, to open the 2025 spring season
-Bested Alabama's No. 62 Andrii Zimnokh, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 in the fall season to earn his first ranked win of the 2024-25 season
-Paired up with Kai Milburn against Auburn to take down the No. 13 duo in the country, 7-6 (7-5)
-Holds an 12-11 singles record in the spring campaign
Gordon Whitwell (Jr.) - Oxford, Mississippi
-Defeated Ryan Kitchin and Adrian Contreras (EKU) 6-2 with partner Isac Strömberg to open junior year spring season
-Secured his first singles win of the spring season over Eastern Kentucky's Darko Kolevski, 6-1, 6-4
-Has secured three wins on the doubles courts with partner Strömberg
-Advanced to the doubles round of 16 at the ITA Southern Regional in the fall season
REBS IN THE RANKINGS
Stromberg and Milburn made some noise last week on the doubles courts after defeating Auburn's 13th-ranked pair of Billy Blaydes and Will Nolan. In a gritty match, the Ole Miss pair captured a 7-6 (7-5) win over Auburn's student-athletes. This win marked the Rebel duo their third victory of the season and tallied their first ranked win of the 2025 campaign. After an impressive win in Auburn, Stromberg and Milburn made their way into the most recent ITA rankings at the No. 78 spot.
TEAM PROFILE: FLORIDA
Adam Steinberg is at the helm of the Florida Gators men's tennis program and holds an overall 9-7 (4-3 SEC) record on the 2025 season. The Gators are led by singles standout Henry Jefferson who boasts a 7-3 record on the season. As for doubles, the duo of Adhithya Ganesan and Tanapatt Nirundorn hold a Gator's best 3-2 record on the doubles courts. Additionally, Florida has three players ranked in singles and two doubles teams ranked inside the top 100 in the ITA Rankings.
TEAM PROFILE: TEXAS A&M
Steve Denton is at the reins of the No. 13 Texas A&M Aggies men's tennis team. The Aggies boast an impressive 12-5 (5-1 SEC) record in the 2025 campaign. Texas A&M is led by Tiago Pires who holds a 19-16 singles record throughout his sophomore campaign. Theo Papamalamis and Togan Tokac team up on the doubles courts to make the Aggies leading duo. The pair holds a 5-2 record and primarily plays on court one. Texas A&M also has three ranked doubles teams in the top 60 and two ranked singles in the top 50.
