Men’s Tennis Falls at No. 21 Tennessee

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - In the first match of the weekend, Ole Miss men's tennis fell to No. 21 Tennessee, 7-0, at the Goodfriend Tennis Center in Knoxville in a midweek matchup.
After dropping the doubles point, the Rebels (11-5, 2-4 SEC) looked to bounce back on the singles courts against the Volunteers (12-5, 3-3 SEC), but ultimately dropped the match.
Loan Lestir and Noah Schlagenhauf secured the lone victory on the doubles courts for the Rebels, as the duo captured a 6-3 victory over Tennessee's Jan Kobierski and Jose Garcia on court three.
On the singles courts, the Rebels put up a strong effort, as Lestir and Schlagenahuf each notched a first set win over their opponents, while Matthieu Chambonniere and Marcel Kamrowski forced third sets after dropping their first sets.
Ole Miss will be back in action against Auburn on Saturday, March 15 at 11:00 am CT at the Yarbrough Tennis Center in Auburn, Ala.
