NFL Rebels Update: Week Five

10/7/2025 | Football

OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL.

Fifteen former Rebels played in Week Five. In Denver, offseason signing Evan Engram scored his first touchdown as a Bronco, putting the Ponies up in the fourth quarter over the defending Super Bowl champions. Engram finished the day with four catches, 33 yards, and one touchdown in the 21-17 win.

Commanders left tackle Laremy Tunsil continued to anchor the left side of the offensive line, currently the third-highest graded pass blocker in the league per PFF. Washington’s offense currently ranks first in the league in rushing yards per game and is in the top 12 in both total yards and points per game. Coming off three straight Pro Bowl seasons, Tunsil is making a strong case to make it four in a row.
