NFL Rebels Update: Week Seven

OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL.

Fifteen former Rebels played in Week Seven. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown played a key role in the Eagles’ win, for Brown finished with 121 yards and two touchdowns on four catches. Brown’s first touchdown was the first score of the game, and his second was to seal the game for the Eagles late in the fourth quarter.

Brown contributed to Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts becoming the first NFL quarterback to post a perfect passer rating this season. His 87.9 PFF receiving grade ranked fifth in the league in Week Seven.

Secured three solo tackles in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

#11 A.J. Brown | WR | Philadelphia Eagles
Hauled in four receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns, both season highs, in a 28-22 win against the Minnesota Vikings.

#77 Ben Brown | OL | New England Patriots
Played 11 total snaps as the Patriots beat the Tennessee Titans 31-13.

#6 Jaxson Dart | QB | New York Giants
Finished 15-of-33 passing for 283 yards and three touchdowns, setting new career highs in both. Dart carried the ball five times for 11 yards and another score and threw one interception. Dart is tied for fourth in the league amongst all quarterbacks with three rushing touchdowns.

Had one tackle in a loss to the Browns. His 90.0 PFF pass rushing grade ranked second in the league in Week Seven.

Secured four tackles in a win over the New York Giants. His 82.4 PFF run defense grade ranked sixth in the league amongst defensive linemen in Week Seven.
