NFL Rebels Update: Week 16

OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL.

Nineteen former Rebels saw action in Week 16. Three of those players contributed to the staunch effort of the Cincinnati Bengals defense, which held the Cleveland Browns offense to just six points. Rookie safety Daijahn Anthony recorded a tackle on special teams, while his fellow rookie, defensive end Cedric Johnson, recorded a quarterback hit in addition to one tackle on special teams. Cornerback Mike Hilton started at nickel, bringing down five solo tackles with one assist, including two tackles for loss. Hilton is tied for 15th in the NFL with 12 tackles for loss this season, which leads the league among defensive backs.The Bengals remain in the playoff hunt after the win.

#64 Nick Broeker | OT | Houston Texans
Was not active in Week 16.

#11 A.J. Brown | WR | Philadelphia Eagles
Started at wide receiver, catching eight passes for 97 yards and a touchdown in a narrow 36-33 loss to the Washington Commanders.

#77 Ben Brown | OL | New England Patriots
Started at center, playing all 73 offensive snaps in a loss to the Buffalo Bills.

#30 AJ Finley | S | Seattle Seahawks
Played 20 total snaps in a loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

#18 Malik Heath | WR | Green Bay Packers
Was not active in a win over the New Orleans Saints.

#21 Mike Hilton | CB | Cincinnati Bengals
Recorded six total tackles, including two for a loss, in a 24-6 win over the divisional rival Cleveland Browns.

#52 Cedric Johnson | DE | Cincinnati Bengals
Recorded one quarterback hit, as well as recording a tackle on special teams, in the win over the Cleveland Browns.

#94 Benito Jones | DT | Miami Dolphins
Started at defensive tackle, bringing down one solo stop in a 29-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

#93 D.J. Jones | DT | Denver Broncos 
Recorded two total tackles and one pass defended in a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

#88 Dawson Knox | TE | Buffalo Bills
Recorded two catches for 22 yards in a 24-21 win over the New England Patriots.

#33 Deane Leonard | CB | Los Angeles Chargers
Played 40 total snaps, recording one pass defended and one tackle in a win over the Denver Broncos.

#14 D.K. Metcalf | WR | Seattle Seahawks 
Hauled in three catches for 57 yards and a touchdown in a 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

#81 Jonathan Mingo | WR | Dallas Cowboys
Played 17 total snaps in a 26-24 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

#8 Elijah Moore | WR | Cleveland Browns
Hauled in two catches for 21 yards in a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

#70 Royce Newman | OL | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Was not active in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

#24 Deantre Prince | CB | Jacksonville Jaguars
Recorded one tackle in a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

#41 Otis Reese IV | LB | Tennessee Titans
Started at safety, picking up four total tackles in a loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

#93 Mark Robinson | LB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Played 23 total snaps, recording one tackle in a loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

#95 Tavius Robinson | OLB | Baltimore Ravens
Recorded four total tackles in a 34-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

#78 Laremy Tunsil | OT | Houston Texans
Started at left tackle, playing all 59 offensive snaps in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

#88 Kenny Yeboah | TE | New York Jets
Started at tight end, playing 23 total snaps in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
