Women’s Tennis Completes Weekend at Wahoowa Invitational

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Ole Miss women's tennis finished its three-day weekend at the Wahoowa Invitational in Charlottesville, Va., on Sunday.
Rachel Krzyzak and Andrea Nova compiled a pair of doubles and singles wins in the tournament.
The duo had a slow start on day one, but quickly gained momentum for the rest of the tournament. Krzyzak and Nova rallied both victories in doubles against Auburn and Virginia, 6-3.
Krzyzak hit the ground running on her singles campaign at the Wahoowa Invitational, notching two singles wins over the course of the tournament. She now has a milestone marker of 45 career singles wins as a Rebel after defeating Virginia's Zara Larke 7-5, 3-6, 6-2.
After a tight race, Nova fell short against Julie Bedard from Auburn, 4-6, 7-5, 7-5. The sophomore dropped the rest of her respective singles matches over the weekend after a hard-fought battle on day three that also resulted in a tie break.
