Women’s Tennis Earns Bid to 2026 ITA Kickoff Weekend Tournament

OXFORD, Miss. – The ITA announced the field for the 2026 ITA Kickoff Weekend Tournament, as Ole Miss earned a spot as the two seed at NC State.
The teams were selected via a draft among 14 host sites, as the Rebels will be joined at NC State by Florida and Boise State. Their opening round match will be against the Gators, followed by either a championship or third-place match the next day. The event takes place January 23-26.
Ole Miss recently capped off their 2025 season by reaching its 22nd overall NCAA Tournament and its first since 2021. The Rebels claimed 15 dual victories, their most since the 2017-18 season. Ole Miss toppled No. 13 Texas in Austin to highlight its historic season.
This will mark the first ITA Kickoff Weekend Tournament in the Grant Roberts era, who was elevated to head coach following the retirement of Mark Beyers this past spring.
