• Ole Miss holds a 64-46-6 advantage in the series dating back to 1901, including a 23-15-3 mark in Starkville.
• The original record is 64-48-6 in favor of Ole Miss ... The Rebels had wins in 2012 & 2014 vacated due to NCAA ruling, while Mississippi State forfeited wins in 1976 & 1977.
• This game will be the 94th "Battle of the Golden Egg," as the two schools started playing for the trophy in 1927 ... Ole Miss holds a 58-29-5 advantage in the "Egg Bowl".

• QB Matt Corral finished the game 25-of-33 for 234 yards and one touchdown.
• Corral has thrown a touchdown pass in 23 of his last 24 games.
• Corral became just the third Ole Miss QB in program history to tally 20 passing TDs in back-to-back seasons.
• Corral is just the second QB in program history to throw for 20 or more touchdowns and run for 10 or more TDs in the same season (Chad Kelly, 2015).
• Corral ranks No. 3 in career passing yards with 8,277 yards ... Corral is only the third Ole Miss QB to surpass 8,000 yards.
• Corral has thrown 57 career passing TDs, No. 3 in program history.
• Corral is No. 3 in Ole Miss career record book in completions (612) ... He is just the fifth Rebel QB to surpass 500 career completions.
• Corral is now No. 4 in Ole Miss history in career passing attempts (906).
• Corral is No. 3 in career total offense with 9,598 total yards.
• Corral tied for ninth in Ole Miss single season with 12 rushing TDs.
• RB Jerrion Ealy led the Ole Miss rushing attack with 16 carries for 60 yards ... Ealy also hauled in five catches for 43 yards and a TD.
• Ealy moved up to sixth all-time in career rushing yards (2,170).
• RB Snoop Conner carries the ball 14 times for 49 yards and two touchdowns.
• Conner's two rushing TDs gives him 13 on the season and ranks fifth in single season rushing touchdowns by a Rebel.
• Conner passed Archie Manning for third on Ole Miss' career charts in rushing touchdowns (26).
• Nineteen of Conner's 26 career rushing touchdowns have been from five yards or less, including 14 one-yard TD runs.
• It marked the fifth career multi-rushing TD game for Conner, fourth this season.
• WR Dontario Drummond tied a school record with 14 catches for 138 yards ... The 14 receptions ties Elijah Moore (2020 vs. Vanderbilt), A.J. Brown (2017 vs. Louisiana) and Laquon Treadwell (2015 vs. Memphis) for the most in program history.
• Drummond now has three 100-yard games on the season, four for his career. 
 
 DEFENSIVE NOTES
• It marked the fourth straight game and fifth time overall this season that the Ole Miss defense didn't allow a first half touchdown.
• Ole Miss has held three straight SEC opponents to 21 points or less in three straight games for the first time since 2014.
• It was only the second time this season Mississippi State was held without a TD in the first half (vs. Alabama).
• Ole Miss now has 39 total sacks on the season, which is tied for the second-most in program history ... It's the most since 1999, which is the school record of 41.
• Tonight was the sixth game this season that the Rebels tallied three or more sacks in a game.
• The Rebel defense has tallied at least one sack in every game this season.
• Ole Miss has tallied four or more tackles for loss in 19 of last 22 games in the Kiffin era.
• DL Sam Williams tallied two sacks and now sits at 12.5 on the season, adding to his single-season school record.
• Williams' 22.5 career sacks put him at third in Ole Miss' career record book (modern day).
• Williams is now seventh all-time in career TFL with 32.5 (Jesse Mitchell, DT, 2000-03; Kendrick Clandy, DT, 1998-99)
• LB Chance Campbell registered a career-high 12 total tackles.
• DB Jake Springer tallied his second-best performance this season with 10 tackles and two pass breakups.
 
 SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• K Cale Nation registered his first field goal of his career with a 25-yard effort in the first quarter.
• KR Jerrion Ealy tallied his second longest kick return of the season with a 32-yard return.
• P Mac Brown registered his second-career multi-tackle game in his career ... He tallied two total tackles against Alabama in 2019.
• Brown punted two times for an average of 43.5 yards per punt.
