NFL Rebels Update: Week 15

Four Rebels Selected to Pro Bowl Roster
OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the league again this year, and there are currently 26 former Rebels on NFL rosters, including star second-year wide receivers A.J. Brown and D.K. Metcalf.
On Monday night, the NFL announced the Pro Bowl rosters. Ole Miss was well represented with four selections: A.J. Brown, Evan Engram, D.K. Metcalf and Laremy Tunsil. Additionally, the four Rebels selected gave Ole Miss the second most for any school and most on the offensive side of the ball.
Metcalf, who was selected to his first Pro Bowl, has been one of the most productive wideouts in the league this season, ranking fourth with 1,223 receiving yards. Brown also earned his first Pro Bowl bid and ranks inside the top 20 in the NFL in receiving yards. It marked the first Pro Bowl selection for Engram, who has 54 receptions for 572 yards and a touchdown so far this season, while Tunsil earned his second selections after starting 13 games and only allowing two sacks in just over 800 snaps played.
Hauled in five passes for 44 yards, including a two-yard touchdown in the 46-25 win over the Lions. Brown has now caught 56 passes for 881 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.

#38 Myles Hartsfield | CB | Carolina Panthers
Played 29 snaps at free safety, totaling a season-high three tackles and one pass breakup in the 24-16 loss to the Packers on Saturday night.
#98 Marquis Haynes | DE | Carolina Panthers
Saw limited action on defense and special teams, tallying a solo tackle in the 24-16 loss to the Packers on Saturday night.
#28 Mike Hilton | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Totaled three tackles and played half of the defensive snaps in the Steelers' 27-17 loss to the Bengals.
#95 Benito Jones | DT | Miami Dolphins
Saw limited action on defense and special teams in the 22-12 victory over the Patriots.
#93 D.J. Jones | DT | San Francisco 49ers
Appeared on 25 defensive snaps and recorded a solo tackle in the 41-33 loss to the Cowboys.
#88 Dawson Knox | TE | Buffalo Bills
Knox helped the Bills clinch the AFC East for the first time since 1995. He hauled in two passes for 36 yards, including a nine-yard touchdown catch in the 48-19 blowout victory over the Broncos.
#14 D.K. Metcalf | WR | Seattle Seahawks
Led the Seahawks in receiving with five catches for 43 yards in the 20-15 victory over the Washington Football Team. With the win, Metcalf helped Seattle clinch a playoff spot.
#14 Donte Moncrief | WR | New England Patriots
Moncrief was listed as inactive for the Patriots' matchup with the Dolphins.
#33 A.J. Moore | S | Houston Texans
Lined up at free safety on 42 defensive snaps and tallied three total tackles as the Texans fell to the Colts 27-20.
#49 C.J. Moore | S | Detroit Lions
Played 16 snaps on special teams and fell a yard short on a fake punt attempt in the 46-25 loss to the Titans.
#80 Laquon Treadwell | WR | Atlanta Falcons
Caught his lone target, a 14-yard reception, as the Falcons fell to the Buccaneers 31-27.
#78 Laremy Tunsil | OT | Houston Texans
Made his 13th start of the season at left tackle and played all 69 offensive snaps as the Texans fell to the Colts 27-20. Tunsil was the Texans' highest-graded pass blocker, receiving a grade of 82.2.

Appeared on special teams in the 27-20 win over the Texans.
