Football Duo Earns PFF Honorable Mention Freshman All-American Honors

Ealy, Broeker Earn Freshman All-American Accolades After 2019 Campaign
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Two Rebels earned honorable mention Freshman All-American accolades from Pro Football Focus on Friday.
Running back Jerrion Ealy and offensive lineman Nick Broeker both collected national accolades after their 2019 campaign.
Ealy, who appeared in all 12 games this season, rushed for 722 yards in his true freshman campaign, the second-most rushing yards by an Ole Miss freshman. His six rushing and eight total touchdowns also ranked second on Ole Miss' freshman single season record book.
The Walnut Grove, Mississippi, native ranked second in the SEC and No. 5 nationally in all-purpose yardage per game amongst freshmen (100.9 ypg). Ealy registered a PFF elusive rating of 145.1, the second-highest by any freshman in the country.
Broeker, a true freshman from Springfield, Illinois, appeared in 12 games at left tackle for the Rebels, logging 474 total snaps. Broeker, the highest graded freshman left tackle in the SEC according to PFF, allowed just one sack in 213 pass blocking snaps.
