Ole Miss Completes Play in Hawaii

Final Results
O'AHU, Hawaii-The Ole Miss women's golf team finished play in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational on Thursday, earning a fourth-place finish.
The finish was the third in the top-five for the Rebels this fall and the fourth top-ten. The final card tally for Ole Miss was 294-298-297-889. The winner, BYU, finished at 295-289-279-863.
"We started out a little rough today, but we fought hard to finish strong on the last few holes," head coach Kory Henkes said. "We had a great time in Hawaii and we are looking forward to working hard so we can be ready for a solid spring season."
Senior Alison Hovatter shot a 1-over par 73 in the final round, and likes what she sees from her teammates as the fall season comes to a close.
"I know we didn't finish the way we wanted to (in Hawaii), but we have all improved so much this fall," Hovatter said. "I learned a lot from this tournament on some areas and I will definitely improve this offseason."
"The best is yet to come for Ole Miss women's golf, we are so ready to tee it up this spring," Hovatter added.
The Rebels open the spring season Feb. 22 at the Gold Rush Tournament in Seal Beach, California hosted by Long Beach State.
Other notable tournaments for Ole Miss include the LSU Tiger Golf Classic Mar.20 and the 2016 Rebel Intercollegiate in Oxford April 1-3.
