No. 11 Rebels Split with Army and Georgia Southern

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss rifle team held the third annual Shoot Pink match Saturday at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center, splitting with No. 13 Army and Georgia Southern.
The Rebels finished with a 4626, while Army edged Ole Miss with a 4642. Georgia Southern posted a 4453.
Smallbore
Ole Miss continues to improve ever slightly in smallbore, shootinga 2288, while Army finished with a 2300 and Georgia Southern had a 2174. Junior Alison Weisz led the Rebels in smallbore with a 579. Sophomore Jessica Haig posted a 573.
Air Rifle
In their last action, Ole Miss shot a school record 2354 in air rifle at the Ole Miss Invitational. That score would have equaled Army, but the Rebels shot a 2338 to Army's 2342. Jessica Haig led the Rebels with a 589, one better than Alison Weisz' 588.
