LEXINGTON, Ky. - The No. 13 ranked Ole Miss rifle team competed at No. 4 Kentucky Saturday at the Buell Armory, and finished with a 4603 aggregate score, while Kentucky posted a 4697. Highlighting the day, freshman Randi Loudin turned in a personal best in smallbore.
Smallbore
The day began with smallbore, and the Rebels shot a 2280 to the Wildcats 2327. Junior Alison Weisz led the Rebels with a 574, and freshman Randi Loudin shot a personal best 570. Sophomore Jessica Haig and freshmen Harley Gardner and Allison Villa all shot 568.

Air Rifle
The Rebels are still looking for consistency in air rifle, after shooting a school record on Oct. 3. Saturday, the Rebels finished with a 2323 in air, while Kentucky posted a 2370. Weisz fired a 588 and Haig a 587 to lead Ole Miss.

"We had some good things going our way today. Randi Loudin had a PR, which helped in smallbore. Still, being down a person is putting a strain on our core starters. Every team member battled today for Ole Miss, but we just didn't get the score we wanted."
Next Up
The Rebels return home to host Jacksonville State and West Virginia Nov. 1 at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center. Fans will receive an Ole Miss Rifle Halloween tumbler.
