ATLANTA, Ga.
- The No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels continued their bowl week preparations, practicing at Georgia State on Saturday afternoon.

From the MARTA rail line that runs beside the two practice fields, to the view of the Georgia Capitol Gold Dome and the Atlanta skyline, the Panthers' practice facility provided a unique backdrop for the Rebels' two-hour practice session.

For seniors, such as linebacker Serderius Bryant, the bowl week and the game itself on Dec. 31 against TCU marks the close of their college careers and the culmination of a remarkable turnaround that might include the programs' first 10-win season since 2003.

"I'm just having fun, enjoying the festivities and enjoying everything that we're doing," Bryant said. "I'm having fun with it. It's great that we can show up in a city like this and have a good time and go play a game in front of a lot of people.

"You're going to remember things like this. That's why I have been taking pictures and recording a lot of stuff and doing a lot of things, so I can remember these times. This is the Peach Bowl. If you can't get hyped for this game, you can't get hyped for anything."

One of only four matchups featuring two top-10 teams, the players also see the matchup with the No. 6 TCU Horned Frogs as an opportunity to achieve a top-five final ranking and give them confidence and momentum heading into the 2015 season.

"It's a big game for our program, so we want to get this 'W,'" sophomore defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche said. "This game is going to help set us up for next year and give us big things to look forward to."

After practice at Georgia State, the players spent two hours at Dave Buster's eating and playing games. Senior defensive back Lakedrick King represented Ole Miss in Super Shot Basketball, the latest competition with TCU in the "Battle for Bowl Week."

Ole Miss will visit the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site and later enjoy a team party at Andretti Indoor Karting and Games. The Rebels will not practice tomorrow, returning to practice at the Georgia Dome on Monday.
