TEE TIME: Haley Sanders Checks In From Vail

Members of the Ole Miss women's golf team will provide fans a look inside the team during the 2011-12 season. Junior Haley Sanders checks in from Vail, Colo., where the Rebels are set to compete in the Golfweek Conference Challenge.
We had a great week last week at our season opener in Charleston, S.C., and after a quick turnaround, have arrived in Vail, Colo. where we were met by some chilly weather. The forecast for the rest of the week, however, looks bright and so does our outlook for this week's tournament as we compete in the Golfweek Conference Challenge at Red Sky Golf Club.
We spent our first night in Vail strolling through the Village where Oktoberfest is currently taking place. The team, dressed in our bright red travel suits, turned a few heads as we walked through the streets enjoying our Greek gyros and Vail candy crunch. We could not have started our week in better fashion.
Along with my teammates Natalie Gleadall, Ashley Lance, Haley Millsap, and Ericka Schneider, I am looking forward to a great week of golf here in Vail. We have been working hard since we returned to Oxford in August, and we know our hard work is going to pay off this week. We have been preparing our minds and bodies for this tournament, and now we are ready to hit the greens and roll in some putts.
