Hi there,

The packing list is sent out from our senior, Jillian Brodd, titled "Lets load the wagon....or bus, and head to Oklahoma." We did just that. Clothes washed, bags packed, van loaded, and on we went. We didn't have too far of a drive as we stopped in Memphis to catch a flight on over to Oklahoma. We ran into a former Rebel, Dori Carter, in the Memphis airport. She was on her way to Kansas to caddy for a friend. She wished us good luck, and we went our separate ways. We boarded our plane for Oklahoma City and it wasn't even 5 minutes and we had to de-plane. The hydraulics were messed up. We were delayed for about an hour and then we were able to take off.

We had a safe flight, but the plane issue was not our only challenge. The next step was to get from the airport to the hotel. Our directions were from the opposite side of Oklahoma City from where we were. Coach had to pull out her ole' reliable GPS, "Betty." We made it so far and then about a 1/2 mile before our destination we made a left turn. That is when the quote of the day was said by Coach Drinkard "You have to take pride in U-turns." It was classic as we are notorious for U-turns during travel.

A little bit about our plans this week. The team is Jillian Brodd, myself (Haley Millsap), Ashley Lance, Natalie Gleadall, Christina Miller, and Kathryn Fowler as an individual. We have a practice round Thursday at 9:00 a.m. We are excited to keep our momentum going from our 2nd place finish last week at the Cougar Classic. We had a great week of practice and Thursday will be a day of preparation and getting to know the course. We have dinner at the club in the evening, and prior to dinner I plan to lead Fellowship. This week I will be sharing on the love Christ has for us.

The first round starts on Friday, and we are paired with Tulsa and Texas State. Follow us by going to www.olemisssports.com and clicking on the live scoring link on the women's golf schedule page.

Our game plan is to have fun! Go Rebels!
