OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's golf team has been busy this fall, not only rising to No. 31 in the nation in the rankings, but helping out in the community with the More than a Meal and Adopt a Basket programs.

Several members of the team participated each week in More than a Meal, which is designed to provide meals, tutoring and more to the many in our community facing extreme economic need.

The Rebels also took time out of their busy schedules to help out with the Adopt a Basket program, which helped L-O-U Community families who were in need and provided them with necessary items to help them have a Thanksgiving with their families.

"Our team is very thankful of every opportunity that they have been provided through athletics and look for ways to give back to the community here in Oxford as well as in their home communities," head coach Michele Drinkard said. "We are very blessed to have a team that has a huge heart."
