Women's Golf Continues Play At SEC/PAC-10 Challenge

STANFORD, Calif. - The 24th-ranked Ole Miss women's golf team continued its struggles at the SEC/PAC-10 Challenge, shooting a 299 in Saturday's second round here at the Stanford Golf Course. The Rebels did move up a couple spots to 13th in the standings.
Junior Haley Millsap led the Rebels with an even par 71 including four birdies. Ashley Lance carded a 75, Kathryn Fowler turned in a 76 and Jillian posted a 77 to round out the Ole Miss scoring.
"I love this team. They are very resilient and stay focused in the `now'," head coach Michele Drinkard said. "Even though we are still not playing the way we would like, they came back and had three birdies No. 18."
UCLA fired a 3-under 281 for a two-day total of 566 and leads Auburn (575) and Alabama (575) by nine. Arizona (578) and California (581) round out the top five.
