OleMissSports.com's Rebelogs provide fans with a look inside the life of Ole Miss student-athletes. Junior Natalie Gleadall blogs about the Rebels trip to California for the SEC/PAC-10 Challenge.

Hi Rebel fans,

This weekend the Ole Miss women's golf team is teeing it up on the west coast in Palo Alto, Calif. This week's tournament is hosted by the Stanford University. The tournament field consists of all SEC and PAC-10 teams. Our lineup this week is myself, Natalie Gleadall, Haley Millsap, Ashley Lance, Kathryn Fowler and Jillian Brodd. Being from Canada I am so excited to be playing in such beautiful sunny weather this time of the year. Even though a lot of our team is far from home this week we still have a lot of supporters coming to cheer us on.

We started our journey out west bright and early Wednesday morning. When we arrived in San Jose we spent some time shopping and touring around. Once we made it to Palo Alto, our team got to spend a few hours touring the Stanford campus with our strength coach Jami Clinton. During this time our coaches - Michele Drinkard and Janell Howland - volunteered their time helping with the First Tee Program. They had 70 young kids participating. The coaches were grateful for the opportuntiy to give back to young aspiring junior golfers. After our tour we met our coaches at the Stanford Golf Course for a cookout.

Our sightseeing didn't stop at the Stanford campus, as we arrived this morning for our practice round. We teed off at 8:50a.m. pacific time. Throughout the practice round there were amazing views of San Francisco. Our team is traveling there on Sunday after the tournament is over to get an even closer look. We really enjoyed the course and could not have had better weather. We are headed out for dinner with our team and a few family members. After dinner we are hosting fellowship by the pool. It is always fun interacting with other teams.

It has been almost two weeks since our last tournament in Knoxville, Tenn. We have had some time to catch up on school and prepare for this last tournament of the fall. We feel ready and excited to be back in competition. Our first round starts tomorrow at 11:10 your time. The Southeastern Conference has provided all the SEC teams with hats. The hats have the SEC logo on them, and all of the SEC teams will be wearing them throughout the tournament. Our gameplan this week is to finish the fall season strong and to have fun.
