The 54-hole event at The Club at Old Hawthorne will get underway with 36 holes on Monday. The final 18 holes are scheduled for Tuesday. Play begins at 8 a.m., on Monday and 8:30 a.m., on Tuesday.
This year's field includes host Missouri, Bradley, UALR, Florida International, Illinois State, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Middle Tennessee State, Missouri State, Princeton, Redlands Community College, Southern Illinois, Tulsa, UMKC and Wisconsin.
Leading the way for the Rebels will be sophomore Haley Millsap. She will be joined by freshman Haley Sanders, senior Sara Grantham, junior Jillian Brodd and senior Andrea Buccilla. Kirsty Rands will compete as an individual.
"We are excited to return to the Johnie Imes where we had such great success last year," head coach Michele Drinkard said. "We have had two solid weeks of good preparation focusing on what each person does well and also on areas that needed improving. We look forward to teeing it up on Monday."
An added feature for this year's event, is the 'Birdies for a Cure' competition, which will help raise money for breast cancer research and awareness. Money raised will go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
