SERIES INFORMATION
- This marked the first ever meeting between Ole Miss and UAB, whose program is in its 19th year of existence and 14 in the FBS.
- The Rebels will next face UAB on Sept. 8, 2012 at legendary Legion Field in Birmingham.
- Ole Miss boasts an all-time record of 131-53-2 against schools that are currently members of Conference USA.
HOMECOMING INFORMATION
- This game was the 82nd Homecoming game at Ole Miss since 1924.
- The Rebels are 66-14-2 all-time in Homecoming games and have won 12 of their last 13.

- Ole Miss is 45-11 versus non-conference opponents dating back to a 38-0 win over Tulane on Nov. 12, 1994.
- The Rebels are 34-6 in their last 40 non-conference games in Oxford and have won seven straight.
- Ole Miss is off to its best start since opening the 2003 campaign 4-2 overall.
- This game will mark the 200th for Houston Nutt as a head coach ... In his 16th season as a head coach, Nutt boasts a 124-76 record and ranks 17th in coaching victories among active NCAA FBS coaches.
- Three different Rebels scored their first career TD (Rodney Scott twice by rush, Lionel Breaux by catch, Andrew Harris by catch) ... Three TDs were accounted for by true freshmen (Rodney Scott twice by rush, Jesse Grandy by kick return).
- Ole Miss is averaging 36.3 points per outing, while holding the opposition to just 12.2 points over its last 10 games.
OFFENSIVE NOTES
- Junior QB Jevan Snead passed for a season-high 240 yards on 15-for-22 passing with three TDs, which equaled his season high ... It marked his third three-TD performance of the year ... Snead's 65-yard TD toss to Markeith Summers is a season-long ... Snead has passed for multiple TD passes in 10 of the last 12 games and has topped 200 yards passing nine times in his two seasons as a Rebel.
- Freshman RB Rodney Scott's two rushing TDs are the most by a Rebel since BenJarvus Green-Ellis ran for three scores in the 2007 Northwestern State game ... Scott topped the team in rushing for the first time in his career, finishing with 57 yards on nine carries.
- Senior WR Shay Hodge finished a yard short of his third career 100-yard receiving game, collecting seven catches for 99 yards.
- Sophomore RB Brandon Bolden totaled 78 all-purpose yards, rushing for 56 yards on 12 attempts and hauling in a 22-yard reception.
- Junior WR Markeith Summers hauled in a career-long 65-yard reception for his third TD catch of the year, which is tied for the team lead.
- Sophomore WR Lionel Breaux collected his first career TD on a 20-yard toss from Snead ... Breaux amassed a pair of grabs for 25 yards.
- Redshirt freshman QB Nathan Stanley tossed his first career TD on a 22-yarder to Andrew Harris ... Stanley connected on 6-of-9 passes for a career-high 98 yards.
- Sophomore WR Andrew Harris hauled in his first career TD on a 22-yard strike from Stanley ... Harris finished with three catches for a career-high 50 yards.
- Senior FB Andy Hartmann collected his second TD reception of the year ... He totaled two catches for 12 yards.
DEFENSIVE NOTES
- The Rebels held the opponent scoreless in the first quarter for the fifth time in six games this season.
- The Ole Miss defense was credited with seven TFLs, including 1.5 each by Marcus Tillman and Cassius Vaughn.
- Junior S Fon Ingram topped the team in tackles with a career-high eight.
- Making his second start of the year, junior CB Jeremy McGee registered his first career interception and returned it 18 yards.
- Freshman LB D.T. Shackelford registered a career-high seven total stops, which was second on the team.
SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
- Freshman Jesse Grandy returned the opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown ... The team's last opening kickoff return for a TD was by Deuce McAllister against Arkansas in Oxford in 1999 ... It marked Ole Miss' first kickoff return for a TD and the longest kick return since Mike Wallace's 98-yarder for a score against Vanderbilt last year.
- Freshman P Tyler Campbell notched his third punt of 50-plus yards in his fourth game of action with a 53-yarder ... He finished with three punts for a 46-yard average with one inside the 20-yard line.
