Trio Of Lady Rebels Competing At Trans National Championship

OXFORD, Miss. A trio of women’s golfers from Ole Miss wrapped up day one of qualifying at the 77th annual Women’s Trans National Golf Association Championship on Monday, as Rachel Ingram, Megan Johnson and Jillian Brodd are all competing in the event.
Play will continue on Tuesday with the second round of action in the prestigious event held at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club in
Ingram and Johnson are both sophomores on the women’s golf team at Ole Miss, while Brodd is an incoming freshman.
Ingram leads the trio, entering Tuesday’s second round tied for 10th with a first round score of 77, while Johnson is tied for 38th with a first-round score of 80. Brodd rounds out the trio in a tie for 81st with a score of 87 after the first round of play.
All three golfers take the course again on Tuesday for the second round of action.
